"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, nicely furnished, and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast and the unexpected cheese platter in the afternoon were a lovely surprise and much appreciated. A special mention goes to the manager, Kathy, who went above and beyond to help me with the return transport of my watch – her support was outstanding and made all the difference. "This hotel is an incredible value for the price. For an older building, it has a surprisingly charming and atmospheric feel. Compared to other hotels in the area, the rates are quite reasonable. Valet parking is $45, but keep in mind that it can take about 20–30 minutes for your car to be brought around. They offer a simple complimentary breakfast in the morning, and from 4–6 p.m. you can enjoy free wine and cheese, which is a nice touch...."

"We had another wonderful stay at Beresford Arms this weekend. It has an old world charm, with a beautiful lobby. The hotel rooms are quite large and very comfortable. There is wine and cheese in the lobby in the early evening, and a nice continental breakfast in the morning. The front desk employee Ms. Sami was so gracious and helpful, and helped make our stay very enjoyable."

"Location was great. Three blocks from Union Square (Macys, Neiman Marcus, Shopping, Fun) and right around the corner from Nob Bill. Free wine and cheese from 430-6 and they have continental breakfast in the Morning. Hotel itself is charming and well kept. Will stay here again!!!"

"A very respectable and friendly establishment! It's old, it's gracious it's a little tired, but a very welcoming place with wonderful people. San Francisco has its challenges but this was a refuge from long busy days and sad situations in the city. They helped us solve a problem with our wine tour with amazing speed and Grace and saved the day! We will be back?"
